Titans receiver Justin Hunter breaks ankle in loss to Panthers

Monday November 16th, 2015

Tennessee Titans receiver Justin Hunter broke his ankle in the team’s loss to the Panthers on Sunday, the team announced. He will likely miss the rest of the season.

Hunter was carted off the field in the final minutes of the game with his foot in an air cast. He was injured when a defender rolled up on his leg from behind.

Hunter had four catches for 47 yards on Sunday, bringing his yearly totals to 22 receptions and 264 yards. He is fourth on the team in receptions and third in receiving yards.

The Titans have been without second-leading receiver Kendall Wright since he injured his MCL in Week 8.
