Bills special teams player Marcus Easley left Monday night’s game against the Patriots to be evaluated for a possible concussion and will not return, the team announced.

Easley is the gunner on Buffalo’s punt coverage team and was injured while making a tackle on a punt in the first quarter. He has played about 62% of Buffalo’s special teams snaps this season and has made five tackles.

Buffalo special teams coordinator Danny Crossman said before the season that he believed Easley should receive Pro Bowl consideration.

Easley was drafted in the fourth round in 2010 out of Connecticut and has seen only limited action on offense.
