The Chicago Bears have ruled out tight end Martellus Bennett, receiver Eddie Royal and running back Ka’Deem Carey for Thursday night’s game against the Packers, the team announced.

Bennett injured his ribs on Sunday against the Broncos and was deemed unable to return with a short week of recovery. This will be the first game Bennett has missed since joining the team in 2013. He has caught 50 passes for 425 yards and three touchdowns this season. Chicago will turn to Zach Miller as its primary tight end.

Royal will miss his third straight game with a knee injury. Carey sustained a concussion during Sunday’s game and will sit out, although running back Matt Fortesaid this week he would return from a knee injury of his own to play on Thanksgiving. Carey had been receiving carries behind rookie Jeremy Langford.

Six Bears were listed as questionable for Thursday, including Forte, receiver Alshon Jeffery and linebacker Pernell McPhee.
