CLEVELAND (AP) Johnny Manziel gets to put on his uniform after all.

Stripped of his starting job last week for not keeping a promise to Cleveland's coaches, Manziel is surprisingly active for Monday night's game against the Baltimore Ravens and is the No. 3 quarterback behind starter Josh McCown and backup Austin Davis.

Browns coach Mike Pettine would not commit to having Manziel dress last week, but the team decided to have him as one of the 46 active players, saving the former first-round draft pick further embarrassment.

After being elevated to Cleveland's starter for the team's final six games, the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner told Pettine and other coaches he would behave during the team's bye week and not become a distraction. But when a video surfaced of Manziel partying in Texas, Pettine decided to bench Manziel, saying the 22-year-old had violated the team's trust.

The Browns will have three quarterbacks active on game day for just the second time this season.

McCown is making his first start since Nov. 1 after missing two games with injured ribs.

Also, Browns cornerback Justin Gilbert will make his first start this season in place of Pierre Desir. Gilbert has been a major disappointment for the Browns, who selected him with the No. 8 overall pick in 2014.

The Ravens can't go a week without more injuries. They're missing two more offensive starters as left tackle Eugene Monroe and left guard Kelechi Osemele are both out with injuries. James Hurst will replace Monroe and Ryan Jensen fills in for Osemele.

Baltimore is already missing starting quarterback Joe Flacco (knee) and running back Justin Forsett (broken arm). Both sustained season-ending injuries last week against St. Louis.

Cleveland's offensive line will be missing starting left guard Joel Bitonio, who will sit out his second straight game with an injured ankle. Rookie Cam Erving will make his second start.

The Browns remain without star cornerback Joe Haden as well as wide receivers Taylor Gabriel and Andrew Hawkins. They all have concussions.
