Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said that running back Devonta Freeman has been cleared and will return to practice on Wednesday after missing time with a concussion, reports ESPN’s Adam Caplan.

Freeman sustained the injury in the first quarter of the Falcons’ 24–21 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Nov. 22 and did not return to the game. He also missed the following week of practice.

Rookie Tevin Coleman started last week’s 20–10 victory over the Minnesota Vikings and finished with 110 yards on 18 carries.

KING MAILBAG: ‘They’re Just Numb’

Freeman leads NFL with nine rushing touchdowns ahead of Adrian Peterson. He is second for overall touchdowns with 11, just one behind Tyler Eifert of the Bengals.
