Johnny Manziel will return to his role as starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports.

The 23-year-old was named the team’s starter through the remainder of the regular season on Nov. 17, but was benched just a week later in favor of Josh McCown after video of him partying surfaced.

Speaking with reporters on Monday, Browns coach Mike Pettine said he hasn’t named a starter for Week 14 yet, and would make his decision on Tuesday.

On Sunday, it was reported that Manziel was in line to regain his starting job, as long as he met certain conditions.

In six games this year, Manziel has completed 59.4% of his passes for five touchdowns and two interceptions.
