NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) The Tennessee Titans will be without a pair of starters with both wide receiver Kendall Wright and safety Da'Norris Searcy out Sunday against the New England Patriots.

Wright will miss his second straight game with a rib injury, making that five of the past seven games for the Titans (3-10). Wright previously missed three games in November with a sprained MCL in his left knee.

His absence means the Titans will be relying on three rookie receivers - Dorial Green-Beckham, Andrew Turzilli and Tre McBride - along with veteran Harry Douglas. The Titans also claimed wide receiver and returner Damaris Johnson off waivers from the Patriots (11-2) on Thursday, but coach Mike Mularkey said Johnson only arrived Friday morning.

Searcy left last week's loss to the New York Jets with a strained hamstring and did not practice all week. Defensive end Mike Martin, who has not practiced since suffering a knee injury three weeks ago, also did not practice all week.

Tight end Phillip Supernaw was added to the injury report Thursday with an injured ankle and was in a walking boot as he missed Friday's practice. Mularkey held out hope that Supernaw could play Sunday.

Both nose tackle Sammie Hill (right knee) and linebacker David Bass, limited Thursday with a hip injury, practiced fully.
