Detroit Lions free safety Glover Quin left Monday night’s game against the New Orleans Saints with a concussion.

The injury occurred late in the second quarter with his team leading the Saints, 21–3. Quin took a blow to the head while attempting to make a tackle, and subsequently left the game with an apparent head injury, as he staggered off the field.

Quin was later ruled out for the remainder of the Monday night matchup.

The seven-year NFL veteran entered Monday’s game with 61 combined tackles and one forced fumble this season for the Lions.

Quin, 29, was replaced by James Ihedigbo following his injury.
