Rams’ Stedman Bailey released from hospital after November shooting

Rams receiver Stedman Bailey has been released from the hospital nearly one month after being shot twice in the head.
Bailey, who was shot Nov. 24 in the Miami area while sitting in a car with relatives, tweeted Wednesday night that he was home with his family for the holidays and doing well.
Bailey, 25, underwent surgery for more than six hours but has recovered well, as he’s detailed on his Twitter account and other social channels in the past month. His teammates visited him in the hospital on Saturday.
What a great feeling it is to be home & away from the hospital. I need to put a Bow on my head and lay under the Christmas tree! 😎

Bailey was a third-round selection of the Rams in 2013, and has caught 59 passes for 843 yards and two touchdowns in three years with the team. He was serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL substance abuse policy at the time of the shooting and was reinstated earlier in December.
