Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer will miss consecutive games with a concussion and Brandon Weeden will again start in his place Sunday against the Titans, according to multiplereports.

Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports reports Hoyer is on track to return in Week 17 against the Jaguars. Hoyer was concussed Dec. 13 against the Patriots and missed last week’s win over the Colts, in which T.J. Yates started at quarterback before tearing his ACL. Weeden replaced Yates and completed 11 of 18 passes for 105 yards and a touchdown, leading the Texans to a 16–10 win.

Hoyer will reportedly travel with the team and has been able to practice in a limited capacity this week, but remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol.

The Texans (7–7) can clinch the AFC South and a playoff berth on Sunday with a win and a Colts loss or tie to the Dolphins.
