Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver De’Anthony Thomas has been placed on IR with a non-football illness and will miss the remainder of the season, the team announced Thursday.

Thomas, 22, has been sidelined since Week 11, when he sustained a concussion in Kansas City’s 33–3 win against the San Diego Chargers.

A fourth round selection by the Chiefs in the 2014 draft out of Oregon, Thomas recorded 17 receptions for 140 yards and one receiving touchdown in 2015. He also rushed for 34 yards and a score in 10 games this year for the Chiefs.

As a rookie last season, Thomas had 23 catches for 156 receiving yards, as well as 113 rushing yards and one score in 12 games in 2014.
