Carolina Panthers cornerback Charles Tillman tore the ACL in his right knee during Sunday’s win over the Buccaneers and will miss the postseason, coach Ron Rivera told reporters on Monday.

Tillman missed four weeks earlier this season with a partially torn ACL in the same knee before returning in Week 15.

The 13-year veteran made a combined 55 tackles in 12 games with two interceptions and two forced fumbles.

With Sunday’s win, Carolina secured home field advantage throughout the playoffs. They will play their first game against either the Redskins, Packers or Seahawks at 1:05 p.m. ET on Jan. 17.
