Eagles interview Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo

PHILADELPHIA (AP) Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo interviewed with the Philadelphia Eagles for their coaching vacancy on Thursday.

McAdoo was the fourth candidate to meet with the Eagles since Chip Kelly was fired last week. He spent the past two seasons with New York after two seasons as quarterbacks coach in Green Bay. McAdoo interviewed with the Giants on Tuesday, a day after Tom Coughlin stepped down.

McAdoo joined the Giants in 2014 after they finished 28th in offense. The offense has ranked 10th and eighth under McAdoo and quarterback Eli Manning has had two of his best seasons.

The Eagles interviewed two of their assistants: running backs coach Duce Staley and offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur. They also interviewed Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase.
