The Chiefs pulled within eight points of the Patriots late in the third quarter on Saturday after a 10-yard touchdown pass from Alex Smith to Albert Wilson made the score 21–13.
Smith took the snap on 1st-and-goal from the New England 10-yard line, waited, and fired right to a sliding Wilson for six points.
Wilson is in his second season out of Georgia State, and had 35 catches for 451 yards and two touchdowns during the year. The score put Smith over 150 yards passing on the day.
