Seahawks DE Cliff Avril (neck) won’t return vs. Panthers

Seattle Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril suffered a neck injury during the third quarter of the NFC divisional round game against the Carolina Panthers and will not return.

Seattle Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril suffered a neck injury during the second quarter of the NFC divisional round game against the Carolina Panthers and will not return, the Seahawks announced. 

Avril went to the locker room early and spent halftime being looked at by team training staff.

He came out of the locker room for the second half wearing street clothes. 

Avril had three tackles before suffering the injury. The Seahawks currently trail the Panthers 31–14.
