The Seattle Seahawks gave the Arizona Cardinals advice on which type of cleats to wear during their NFC Championship Game at Bank of America Stadium on Sunday, according to CBS Sports.

The Seahawks were having trouble keeping their footing on the field during their 31–24 divisional round playoff loss to the Panthers last Sunday. The slipping became such a problem that players ended up changing their cleats mid-game.

Despite the rivalry between this year’s top two teams in the NFC West, the Seahawks contacted the Cardinals to help them avoid having the same problem in their coming matchup with the Panthers.

The Seahawks' equipment manager spoke with the Cardinals equipment staff, allowing Arizona personnel to recommend proper cleat stud sizes to Arizona’s players. Each player found a note in his locker before practice this week explaining the reasoning for the change in footwear.

The Cardinals and the Panthers will kick off at 6:40 p.m. ET on Sunday, with the winner advancing to Super Bowl 50.
