The Panthers jumped out to a quick 17–0 lead in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game on Philly Brown’s 86-yard touchdown catch from Cam Newton late in the first quarter.

The Panthers jumped out to a quick 17–0 lead in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game on Philly Brown’s 86-yard touchdown catch from Cam Newton late in the first quarter.

Newton found Brown open over the middle of the field and fired a long strike to the second-year receiver. Brown eluded safety Rashad Johnson and sprinted into the end zone for the score. 

Brown had 31 catches for 447 yards and four touchdowns in the regular season.
