Panthers' Josh Norman: Emmanuel Sanders should 'practice some more'
Josh Norman has responded to Emmanuel Sanders's recent comments that the Panthers cornerback’s reputation as a shutdown defender is more a product of off-the-field hype than on-field abilities. On Thursday, Norman let the media know he was confident in his abilities, according to ESPN.
“I think you'd have to be pretty darn good at what you do to talk your way into the spotlight, I haven't been hearing much about him. Obviously he may want to go back and go practice some more.”

Norman, who was elected to the Pro Bowl this season and has four interceptions and two touchdowns this season, was referring to a quote from the Broncos wide receiver that he had “talked himself into the media” this season.
The Carolina defender added that the comments had likely been overblown by the media as part of the buildup to Sunday’s Super Bowl, according to The Charlotte Observer.
