Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas has tabbed the New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers as the early 8–1 odds favorites to play in Super Bowl LI, reports ProFootballTalk.

The Denver Broncos, who won Super Bowl 50 on Sunday night with a 24–10 victory over the Carolina Panthers, opened at 14–1 odds to try and repeat as champions. The Panthers begin the NFL off-season at 10–1 odds to return to the Super Bowl, the same odds as the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals.

The Packers finished second in the NFC North before defeating the Redskins in the wild-card game and losing to the Cardinals in the NFC divisional playoffs.

The Patriots fell short of appearing in the Super Bowl with a loss in the AFC Championship, which halted quarterback Tom Brady's quest for a fifth chance to hoist the Lombardi Trophy. The Seahawks and Steelers were eliminated in the NFC and AFC divisional playoffs, respectively.

The Cleveland Browns are listed at 200–1 odds to win the Super Bowl next year.

Next year’s Super Bowl will be held at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
