Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib called out Panthers quarterback Cam Newton for his “Superman” nickname after the Broncos’ defense dominated Carolina in their Super Bowl 50 win.

“There ain’t no Easter Bunny, there ain’t no Santa Claus, there ain’t no Superman,” Talib said after the game, according to the Broncos’ Twitter account.

Newton often celebrates on-field accomplishments by pretending to rip open his shirt as Superman does to reveal the superhero costume beneath his clothes.

But Newton spent little time celebrating during Super Bowl 50 as the Panthers never led in the game and the Denver defense limited Newton to 18 for 41 passing for 265 yards with no touchdowns, one interception and six sacks.
