Indianapolis Colts linebacker Jonathan Newsome was arrested early Wednesday morning for marijuana possession, reports Matt Adams of Fox59.com.

According to the report, Zionsville, Ind., police were following up on a noise complaint stemming from loud music being played at Newsome’s apartment around 2 a.m. When police investigated the apartment, they found marijuana.

Newsome, 25, was taken to Boone County Jail and faces two counts of possession of marijuana.

The outside linebacker played in 14 games, including two starts, for the Colts this season, recording nine tackles and a sack. He led the team in sacks with 6.5 as a rookie in 2014.

Newsome was drafted by the Colts in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL draft out of Ball State.
