The Los Angeles Rams are discussing contract extensions with coach Jeff Fisher and his staff, according to ESPN’s Nick Wagoner.
Fisher is entering the final year of a five-year, $35 million deal that he signed in 2012. The Rams have gone 27-36-1 since he arrived and are coming off a 7–9 campaign that saw them finish third in the NFC West.
A native of California, Fisher coached the Houston Oilers through their relocation to Tennessee in 1997, and will again lead a team through a move with the Rams leaving St. Louis for Los Angeles.
