The San Diego Chargers have agreed to the terms of a deal to keep tight end Antonio Gates, reports Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the deal is a two-year agreement, which will allow Gates, 35, to finish his career in San Diego.

Gates was signed to the Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2003. Over the course of 13 seasons with the team, he has recorded 10,644 receiving yards and 104 touchdowns in 190 games.

Last season, Gates had 56 receptions for 630 yards and five touchdowns. The Chargers went 4–12 on the season.
