The Jaguars will sign free-agent cornerback Prince Amukamara, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Amukamara played in 11 games for the Giants last season, recording 63 tackles, one forced fumble and one interception. The Jaguars have been aggressive in upgrading their defense so far this off-season, having also re-signed defensive linemen Abry Jones, and adding defensive lineman Malik Jackson and safety Tashaun Gipson.

Amukamara spent the first five seasons of his career with the New York Giants, who selected him in the first round of the 2011 draft. The cornerback has battled injuries throughout his career, having played in a full season only once.
