Free-agent safety Taylor Mays has been suspended for four games, according to multiplereports.

Mays’s suspension is for violating the NFL’s substances of abuse policy, reports NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.

Mays played in 14 games for the Oakland Raiders last season, recording 26 combined tackles. The safety’s contract expired after the season.
