Report: Redskins will re-sign cornerback Will Blackmon

Monday March 14th, 2016

The Redskins will re-sign cornerback Will Blackmon, CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora reports.

Blackmon, 31, was signed by Washington one week into the 2015 season after spending the previous four years with the Giants and Jaguars. He recorded a career-high 57 total tackles with two interceptions and three forced fumbles

A fourth-round selection out of Boston College in 2006, Blackmon started his career in Green Bay before moving to New York following the 2009 season.

With the re-signing of Blackmon, Washington will return their top four corners.
