Bears, Zach Miller agree to two-year contract
The Chicago Bears and tight end Zach Miller have agreed to a two-year contract, the team announced Monday.
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport first reported the news.
Miller’s deal is worth $6 million, with $2 million more up for grabs in incentives.
Last season, the 31-year-old had his most productive campaign, recording 34 receptions, 439 receiving yards and five touchdowns. In his NFL career, Miller has played in 48 games, collecting 79 passes, 909 receiving yards and nine touchdowns.
A sixth round selection by Jacksonville in the 2009 NFL draft out of Nebraska-Omaha, Miller played with the Jaguars for his first three seasons in the league. He signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2013, but was released during the preseason.

Miller then joined the Bears later in 2013. He was placed on IR with a foot injury in 2014. Miller signed a one-year extension with Chicago in February 2015.
