The Packers are not interested in re-signing veteran receiver James Jones, his agent told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

“They’re going to go with the young guys,” agent Frank Bauer told the paper.

The Packers have several young receivers under contract, namely Randall Cobb, Davante Adams, Ty Montgomery and Jared Abbrederis, all of whom are 25 or younger. Jordy Nelson, who missed all of last season with a torn ACL, is the oldest member of the receiving corps at 30.

Jones, who turns 32 later this month, led the team with 890 yards and eight touchdowns last season. He was released by the Giants in August and signed by Green Bay after Nelson’s injury.
