Bills running back LeSean McCoy will not face charges for allegedly punching a police officer in a February bar fight, reports Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The Philadelphia defense attorney's office said there was "insufficient evidence” to charge McCoy or anyone involved in the bar fight.
McCoy was being investigated after a fight over a bottle of champagne left two off-duty police officers with injuries. The brawl reportedly took place between McCoy’s group, totaling four people, and three officers. The NFL was also investigating the issue.

In February, McCoy met with a Philadelphia district attorney to discuss his involvement in the fight. There was no arrest warrant issued for McCoy, as questions remained about McCoy’s actual involvement in the fight, why the officers did not immediately call 9-1-1 and how much they had to drink.
