The Kansas City Chiefs selected Stanford quarterback Kevin Hogan in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL draft.

The Kansas City Chiefs selected Stanford quarterback Kevin Hogan in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL draft. 

Hogan, 23, was the 162nd overall pick. In four seasons, he threw for 9,385 yards and 75 touchdowns and led the Cardinal to three Rose Bowls and 36 wins. He also ran for 1,249 yards and 15 touchdowns.

He will slot in behind Alex Smith on the depth chart, with Chase Daniel and Aaron Murray also on the roster.
