Titans agree to terms with 6 draft picks as rookies report

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with six of their 10 draft picks, including Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry.

The Titans announced the deals Monday, the day their rookie class reported for work for the first time.

Those agreeing to terms include two of their three selections in the second round with defensive lineman Austin Johnson of Penn State and Henry from Alabama, the 45th pick overall.

Tennessee also agreed to terms with both fifth-round selections wide receiver Tajae Sharpe of Massachusetts and cornerback LeShaun Sims of Southern Utah and both seventh-round picks in UCLA linebacker Aaron Wallace and Southern Mississippi cornerback Kalan Reed.

That leaves only four draft picks still unsigned, including the eighth pick overall in offensive tackle Jack Conklin.

The Titans' rookie minicamp starts Friday.

The Titans also announced Monday they waived wide receiver Damaris Johnson and cornerback Steven Clarke and agreed to terms with 11 undrafted free agents.

Those undrafted free agents include offensive tackles Sam Carlson of Colorado State, Tyler Marz of Wisconsin and Nick Ritcher of Richmond; wide receiver Rashon Ceasar of Louisiana-Monroe and tight end Alex Ellis of Tennessee. They also added kicker Aldrick Rosas of Southern Oregon.

On defense, the group includes Boston College defensive end Medhi Abdesmad, Florida State safety LaMarcus Brutus, Southern California nose tackle Antwaun Woods and defensive ends Iosia Iosia of West Texas A&M and Terrell Lathan of Texas Christian.
