The Tennessee Titans have waived quarterback Zach Mettenberger, the team announced on Monday.

Mettenberger was listed third on the Titans depth chart behind Marcus Mariota and Matt Cassel. The Titans signed Cassel in March to back up Mariota.

Tennessee drafted Mettenberger in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL draft. He played in 14 games over two seasons with the Titans, making 10 starts with an 0–10 record. He has thrown for 2,347 career yards with 12 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

Tight end Kevin Greene and wide receiver Rashon Ceaser were also cut on Monday.
