Quinn was the darling of last year’s rookie head coach class even before the Falcons formally hired him away from Seattle. The good vibes from Atlanta’s 6–1 start faded fast after the team stumbled to an uninspiring 8–8, and year two will determine whether Quinn should get more credit for the late-game cool of the first-half Falcons or shoulder more blame for the maddening inconsistency of the second-half Falcons. — Eric Single
