Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins is not sure if he will be able to practice during training camp, reports Tyler Dunne of The Buffalo News.

Watkins underwent surgery to repair a broken foot in April. He told Dunne that he is not sure when the injury occurred.

“Boot comes off tomorrow,” Watkins said Wednesday. “I have to be careful and take this recovery slow. The goal is the regular season.”

Watkins, 22, was selected in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft by the Bills. The wide receiver ran for 1,047 yards and nine touchdowns last season.
