Chargers, Keenan Allen agree to four-year contract extension

The San Diego Chargers and wide receiver Keenan Allen have agreed to a four-year contract extension, the team announced.
The deal will reportedly pay him more than $11 million per season. No announcement has been made on how much of the contract is guaranteed.
As a rookie, he made 71 catches for 1,046 yards. A knee injury cut his sophomore campaign short as he finished last season with 67 receptions, 725 yards and four touchdowns in eight games.

Allen was heading into the final year of his contract and is expected to earn $7.75 million in the upcoming season.
