The Oakland Raiders have reportedly given David Amerson a raise with his new four-year contract extension.
The Oakland Raiders have reportedly signed cornerback David Amerson to a four-year contract extension, according to NFL media's Ian Rapoport.
The deal is reportedly worth $38 million with $18 million guaranteed, Rapoport reports.
The Raiders first acquired Amerson off waivers from the Washington Redskins, who drafted him in the second round of the 2013 NFL draft.
Amerson went on to have a break-out season season in which he recorded 58 tackles, 25 pass defenses and four interceptions in 14 games for Oakland. One of the interceptions was returned for a touchdown.
