Tom Coughlin, Justin Tuck to be inducted into Giants Ring of Honor

The New York Giants will induct former coach Tom Coughlin, defensive end Justin Tuck and general manager Ernie Accorsi into the franchise’s Ring of Honor.

The New York Giants will induct former coach Tom Coughlin, defensive end Justin Tuck and general manager Ernie Accorsi into the franchise’s Ring of Honor, the team announced Tuesday.

The three will officially be inducted into the Ring of Honor during New York’s Monday night game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Nov. 14.

Accorsi will join George Young as the second general manager in the Ring of Honor, while Coughlin is the fourth coach to be inducted, joining Steve Owen, Jim Lee Howell and Bill Parcells. 

Justin Tuck is the fifth defensive end to be inducted, along with former teammates Michael Strahan and Osi Umenyiora.

Accorsi served as the Giants general manager from 1998–2007, hiring Tom Coughlin and drafting Justin Tuck. 

All three were part of the franchise when New York defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII, while Coughlin and Tuck would also win Super Bowl XLVI.
