Michael Vick: There were times I felt I was dominating too much

Discussing his earlier playing days Monday, free-agent quarterback Michael Vick said he felt bad at times for opposing defenders.

Vick made the comments on The Dan Patrick Show.

“Some guys tore their ACLs, sprained ankles. It wasn't the prettiest situation,” Vick said about feeling bad for defenders. “There were times in games when I felt was dominating, and I was dominating too much. You got to tell yourself, pinch yourself and say look, ‘You got to keep going because they’re out to get you.’”

Vick was one of the most-feared rushing quarterbacks in the NFL during his prime. He ran for over 1,000 yards with the Falcons in 2006, and has rushed for 36 touchdowns in his career.

Vick, 36, is currently a free agent after spending last season with the Steelers. In his career, Vick has run for 6,109 yards while averaging seven yards per carry.
