Colts top draft pick C Ryan Kelly out with shoulder strain

ANDERSON, Ind. (AP) Indianapolis Colts center Ryan Kelly will miss Monday afternoon's practice with a strained left shoulder.

Coach Chuck Pagano says the rookie is considered day to day. Indy opens the preseason Sunday night against Green Bay in the annual Hall of Fame game at Canton, Ohio.

Kelly, Indy's first-round draft pick in April, was injured during Sunday's practice and watched the final 90 minutes of action from the side.

He has been in the working with the starters since May and will be replaced initially by Jonotthan Harrison, one of five starting centers quarterback Andrew Luck has taken snaps from over the past four seasons.

Pagano also says rookie safety Andrew Williamson will have an MRI on his injured knee.
