Bengals sign H-back Ryan Hewitt to 3-year extension

CINCINNATI (AP) The Cincinnati Bengals signed H-back Ryan Hewitt on Tuesday to a three-year contract extension through the 2019 season.

Hewitt is entering his third season. He was signed as an undrafted free agent from Stanford and developed into one of the Bengals' best blockers. He has played in 31 games, starting 23 of them.

Hewitt has 18 career catches for 185 yards and has carried one time for no gain.
