NFL extends partnership with Snapchat

NEW YORK (AP) The NFL and Snapchat have announced a multiyear partnership, strengthening the relationship with the league and the mobile storytelling platform.

The NFL worked with Snapchat during the 2015 season, when it says more than 70 million people viewed Snapchat's live stories surrounding NFL games and events.

The NFL will become the first sports league to have a presence on the ''Discover'' platform. Programmed by NFL Media, the content will give Snapchat users the latest headlines, trends and access to videos.

Snapchat live stories will be produced for every NFL game during the season, along with the Super Bowl, the NFL combine and draft.
