Reports: NaVorro Bowman, 49ers agree to four-year extension
The San Francisco 49ers have reportedly agreed to a four-year contract extension with linebacker NaVorro Bowman.

The San Francisco 49ers have agreed to a four-year contract extension with linebacker NaVorro Bowman, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.
The new deal will pay Bowman $20 million guaranteed and increases his annual salary to around $11 million. He had three years left on his current contract, which would have paid him $5.85 million next season without bonuses, according to Pro Football Talk. His new contract runs for seven years and totals $77 million.
Bowman, 28, is a three-time Pro Bowler and four-time first team All-Pro selection. He led the league in tackles last season, recording a career-high 154 in total. He has made at least 143 combined tackles in each of his last four seasons.
The 49ers went 5–11 last season, last in the NFC West.
