Report: Cowboys make Travis Frederick highest-paid center with six-year extension

The Cowboys and Travis Frederick have agreed to a six-year, $56.4 million extension to make him the highest-paid center in the league, NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reports.

A total of $18.2 million will be fully-guaranteed.

Frederick, 25, was taken by the Cowboys out of Wisconsin with the No. 31 pick in the 2013 draft. He is a key component of the best offensive line in football, according to Pro Football Focus, which led the team to a top-10 finish in rushing last season.

The extension was reportedly agreed upon shortly before Dallas played Los Angeles in its preseason opener.
