Bills wide receiver Marquise Goodwin has entered the NFL’s concussion protocol after leaving practice on Tuesday, coach Rex Ryan told reporters.

Goodwin was trying to make a catch in a red zone drill on the final day of training camp, according to The Buffalo News, and hit his head on the ground. A trainer took off his helmet and walked him off the field.

The 25-year-old speedster, who narrowly missed qualifying for the Olympics, is fighting for a spot on the Bills’ opening day roster. Buffalo is dealing with multiple injuries at receiver, with Sammy Watkins, Marcus Easley and Kolby Listenbee all hobbled due to various ailments.
