NFL roster cuts: Forsett, Sitton, Sanchez released
Saturday September 3rd, 2016

The Baltimore Ravens have released running back Justin Forsett, the team announced Saturday.

Forsett, 30, had a career revival with the Ravens after spending the first five years of his seven-year career in Seattle, Houston and Jacksonville. He shattered his career high with 1,266 rushing yards and eight touchdowns in 2014, then followed that up with 641 yards and two scores before breaking his arm in Week 11 and missing the last six games of the 2015 season.

Baltimore appears set with second-year back Buck Allen, who filled in well for the injured Forsett last year, and Lorenzo Taliaferro.
