Lions end Anash out, Levy doubtful to play against Packers

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) The Detroit Lions have decided defensive end Ezekiel Ansah will not play against the Green Bay Packers because of an injured left ankle.

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) The Detroit Lions have decided defensive end Ezekiel Ansah will not play against the Green Bay Packers because of an injured left ankle.

The Lions listed Ansah as out on their injury report Friday.

Ansah was hurt early in Sunday's loss to Tennessee and didn't return to play in the game.

Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy is doubtful with a quadriceps injury, leaving the team with only a little hope he will be cleared to play Sunday at Green Bay after he was inactive against the Titans. Levy missed much of last season with a hip injury.

Levy and linebacker Antwione Williams, who has a hamstring injury, didn't practice Friday. Williams is also doubtful to face the Packers.

This story has been corrected to reflect the proper spelling of Ansah's last name in the headline.
