Houston Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler returns to Denver for the first time since signing a free-agent deal with Houston when they take on the defending world champions on Monday Night Football.

The Texans come into the game with a 4–2 record, alternating wins and losses in their last four contests. Houston has a winning record despite their rushing defense being a liability, ranking 29th in the NFL in that category. Osweiler (59% COMP, 8 TD, 8 INT) is also the 30th ranked passer in the league.

The Broncos have lost two straight since starting the season 4–0, mostly due to inefficiency on offense, scoring 13 and 16 points respectively in the last two games. Denver still boasts an elite defense, ranking second in the league in total defense and only allowing 18 points a game.

The teams haven't played since the 2013 season, a 37–13 victory by the Broncos.
