A man died after he fell from Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium after the Broncos’ game on Monday night, the Denver medical examiner announced Tuesday.

The fan, 36-year-old Jason Coy, fell approximately 30 to 50 feet, the Associated Press reported earlier Monday. The Denver Post reported that the fall was 60 feet.

Coy was taken to Denver Health Medical Center and later pronounced dead. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma.

According to the Post, medical personnel responded to the scene at 9:44 p.m. local time after receiving a 911 call for help coming from Gate 5, which is located at the north end of the stadium.

The incident, which occurred after the Broncos beat the Texans 27–9, is under investigation.
