The eighth week of the NFL season concludes on Monday night with the Minnesota Vikings heading to Soldier Field to face the Chicago Bears.

The Vikings are 5–1 and sit atop the NFC North. The Bears are 1–6 and remain at the bottom of the NFC North.

The Vikings dropped their first game of the season last Sunday with a 21–10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Sam Bradford finished the day 24 for 41 passing for 224 yards and one interception.

The Bears have lost three straight games. With injuries at quarterback, Chicago turned to Matt Barkley, who finished 6 for 15 with 81 yards and two interceptions.
