CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) Carolina linebacker Luke Kuechly will miss his third straight game with a concussion when the Panthers host the San Diego Chargers.

A.J. Klein will start in his place.

Cornerback Daryl Worley and safety Kurt Coleman have been cleared from the league's concussion protocol and will start for Carolina on Sunday.

Along with Kuechly, defensive end Charles Johnson, running back Cameron Artis-Payne, offensive tackle Daryl Williams, defensive tackle Kyle Love, tight end Chris Manhertz and linebacker David Mayo are also inactive for the Panthers (4-8).

Inactive for the Chargers (5-7) are running back Ronnie Hillman, tight end Asante Cleveland, wide receiver Geremy Davis, offensive cackle Tyreek Burwell, center Maz Tuerk, nose tackle Ryan Carrethers and cornerback Brandon Flowers.
